Waverly City Schools
Graphic Design & Visual Communications
As a graphic design teacher at Waverly City Schools, I create a wide range of visual materials that support the district’s communication and branding needs. My work includes large-format banners, yearbooks, social media graphics, and posters, as well as various print and digital designs used throughout the school.
In addition to design, I also manage the production and printing of large-format banners in-house, ensuring color accuracy, quality, and quick turnaround for school events and athletic displays.
Many of these projects are completed in collaboration with a small student design team in my digital media class, where I guide students through real-world design workflows—from concept to print. This hands-on experience not only benefits the district with professional-quality materials but also gives students valuable experience in design, production, and creative teamwork.
Through this work, I aim to create visually engaging content that strengthens school identity, celebrates student achievements, and fosters community pride.
